The Fed express has done it again. He beats #NextGenATP Aussie Alex de Minaur in straight sets to win his 10th title in his hometown Basel. Federer was at his impeccable best - serving well, playing attacking tennis and mixing up his backhand with powerful drives and deep slices. "He just puts you under pressure," De Minaur said. "Any ball that isn't a metre from the baseline for him is a short ball."
Watch the video and you will see that one of the key things that sets Federer apart from the other elite tennis players is the quality of his movement around the court. He skips, hops, shuffles his feet with great balance and speed. If he is pushed wide from a good hit from his opponent, he moves very quickly to get back into the right position on the court, always balanced and ready to move in whatever direction is needed. It really is incredible to see how graceful this man is on the court, especially given that he is 38 years old this year!
